Sarah Evers Conrad is an award-winning equestrian journalist with a background in magazine publishing, feature writing, news and event coverage, editing, photo sourcing, PR, and more. Over her nearly 20-year career, she has also gained extensive experience in digital marketing, social media, and website management.


Sarah has a Bachelors degree in Journalism from Western Kentucky University with a double major in Agriculture with an Equine Science emphasis. A lifelong equestrian, Sarah started her career at Blood-Horse Publications with The Horse: Your Guide to Equine Health Care magazine. She then became immersed in the world of equestrian sports at the United States Equestrian Federation (USEF) as the Managing Editor of Equestrian magazine and later as the Director of E-Communications. She then spent three years as the content manager/travel writer for a Caribbean travel agency before she opened her own business, All In Stride Marketing.


Now Sarah focuses on providing writing and editing services for a variety of publications and clients, both inside and outside the equine industry. She has been published in equine publications such as The Horse, Blood-Horse, Equestrian, Arabian Horse Life, USDF Connection, the American Quarter Horse Journal, Paint Horse Journal, Off-Track Thoroughbred, Stable Management, and and She is also the current editor for the Certified Horsemanship Association’s official publication, The Instructor magazine. Conrad has also edited several books, including CHA's “The Equine Professional Manual—The Art of Teaching Riding,” which was awarded an American Horse Publications Equine Media Award in the non-fiction book category.

Conrad has covered a plethora of events within the horse industry, including the Kentucky Derby, the Breeders’ Cup, the Rolex Kentucky Three-Day Event (now the Land Rover Kentucky Three-Day Event), the American Association of Equine Practitioners Annual Convention, the International Hoof-Care Summit, the USEF Pony Finals, the Adequan/FEI North American Youth Championships, the U.S. National Arabian and Half-Arabian Championship Horse Show, and the World’s Championship Horse Show. 

In addition, Sarah has been a speaker at the Certified Horsemanship Association's International Conference, the American Horse Publications Conference, and at the Kentucky Horse Council's Recreational Rider Day, and she has been active in Toastmasters.
